5 Product Recalls Of Last Week
3. Hand Sanitizer from DIBAR Labs
DIBAR Labs is recalling all Hand Sanitizer packaged in 8oz and 16 oz bottles. The recall was initiated after testing conducted by the FDA revealed the presence of methanol. The contaminated products were distributed nationwide in the USA through S.E.N.D. LLC and its customers. DIBAR Labs has notified its direct distributors by letter and asked that they remove the recalled products from commerce immediately if they still possess inventory.
Substantial methanol exposure can result in nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system, or death.
