According to the CDC, The coronavirus RNA can remain in the upper respiratory tract of a recovered patient at an extremely low concentration after three months after infection. At the same time, Trump's physician only mentioned the "decreasing viral load", "fever-free", and "all symptoms improved" in his memo. In other words, Trump could be symptomatic or asymptomatic with the coronavirus flowing around in his 74-year-old body. Poor Trump. But the good news is: There is currently no clinical evidence that such patients can transmit the virus to others. Still, only seven months have passed since the discovery of the coronavirus. More study and time are needed for reliable information on the newly-emerged COVID the duration of immunity to the virus.
