These 5 States In Danger From New COVID Variant

Thanks to vaccinations, the COVID-19 pandemic has been tamped down in America. However, in states where not enough people have been vaccinated, it can still be extremely dangerous. In fact, a new variant, dubbed Delta, which originates from India, could cause another new outbreak, because it is more transmissible and soon to be the most dominant. Particularly in parts of the South where vaccination rates are low, there is a risk of seeing outbreaks with this new variant.

Here are the five states with the fewest number of residents who are fully vaccinated, according to CDC data, and they have not yet administered at least one shot to half of their population.
