1. Vegetables
To use up your food before it goes bad, you not only need to check out the expiration dates on its package from time to time, but also bear in mind how long each kind of food normally lasts in the fridge. Keep the guideline handy, in case you need it!
It's a pretty neat idea to put vegetables in the fridge. But don't take it as a safe bet and leave it behind, otherwise you'll be surprised at the shriveled and slimy leaves!
