Let's Eat More Vegetables! But Why Bother? How?

2. Hide it in your dish

Pasta sauce: Pasta with a mysterious sauce that's packed with veggies: what a win-win solution for your carb craving and vegetable intake! Combine cooked onion, carrot, cauliflower, and/or bell pepper into a blender and season it to your liking. If you want your sauce extra creamy or cheesy don't forget to throw in some cheese or soaked cashew with nutritional yeast.

Smoothie: I know, some green smoothie recipes are just disgusting because all you can taste out of them are greens! But adding frozen bananas is a great way of making your smoothie sweet and creamy. You could also add your favorite nut or seed butter to disguise the veggie taste. Another way to make your smoothie packed with veggies taste good is to use frozen spinach, kale, or even cauliflower and broccoli. I promise you won't taste the veggies at all if you use all three techniques to whip up a smoothie.

Veggie soup: What's more wholesome than a creamy, well-blended soup packed with veggies that you can't see? Butternut squash soup, curried cauliflower soup, etc. I'm sure there would be one that you are fond of.
