Stress Eating During Pandemics
We are not saying that stress eating is something that you have to change. If you find eating comfort food makes you feel good, then go for it (I have been munching on 75% Dark Chocolate by Lindt ever since the coronavirus breakout started). However, it oftentimes arouses more psychological stress, such as the fear of losing control over your behavior and the ability to detect your body's hunger cues, the uncomfortable feeling of being bloated, and the loss of confidence and higher risks for chronic or cardiovascular disorders due to weight gains. In these cases, we understand that you would probably want to seek change in your eating habits.
