Promise me you will always remember to take that can of soda out of your freezer when you simply want an instant chill. Expanding water in canned soda creates pressure on the can along with the carbon dioxide. Bottled soda would probably be fine due to the plasticity of the container. But canned ones are very likely to explode and make a mess in your freezer.
